ILM recently provided a custom light box for a hotel media room in Illinois. The light box was 3-3/4″ x 3′ x 20′ backlit LED box with a custom printed flex face showing Chicago’s skyline. The light box was recessed into a stone wall and became the focal point of the room. We were able to come up with a one-of-a-kind solution to meet the needs of the customer. The flex face graphic was stretched over the light box frame in the field and was printed in one piece. We added a 2″ finishing around the perimeter of the light box to conceal the edges of the frame and help it fit seamlessly into the recess but make graphic changes easily.
